With RWS ammunition no compromises are made and the safety of the shooter is always top priority during development and production. The production of all ammunition is strictly regulated and cartridges must conform to certain standards. However, within this it is obvious that some ammunition only just meets the standards whilst other manufacturers exceed them. RWS consistently follows the path of high quality from initial ideas in product development to the final inspection in quality control - no compromise is made. All components, primer case, powder and bullet, go through a monitored production process and then during loading are subject to a multi-layered quality control system. More than 100 production steps are necessary before an RWS cartridge is considered finished.
